The Yarra Jets Football Club aims to provide high quality community oriented soccer. The club was set up in November 2008 in response to a call from the local community to provide a soccer club with a focus on player development and participation rather than the traditional cultural and skills based focus. It is a parent driven, committee and membership based, not for profit sporting club.
Yarra Jets works closely with Jesuit Social Services and Centre for Multicultural Youth to facilitate the inclusion of players from the nearby housing estates.
Yarra Jets welcomes all players irrespective of gender, ability, religious, cultural or financial status. All our coaches have or are training for their coaching license.
