Junior U10-U18 Teams Season starts on 15 April
The Jets want to promote opportunities to play football for everyone. Even though the season is getting under way, we still want to offer places to a few players.
U15 Boys team needs a couple of players to round out a full squad. Alan, their coach is a terrific young Scot committed to the team’s enjoyment and appreciation of the game. Anyone turning 14 or 15 this year, contact Nick on 0430 164 417

SSF Saturday Program - Grass roots and skill development for younger kids
For kids aged 5+, the Jets offer a program of learning in small game formats for the youngest players at the club on Saturdays from 11:00-1.00 at George Knott Reserve starting 21 April. See

We have a team of coaches and a coach coordinator supporting the program, but strongly encourage any parents to get involved with a group or team. The club recommends all coaches wishing to achieve the relevant qualifications to do so.
The program is flexible enough for kids up to 9 or 10 who are interested in trying the game for the first time. The club also has teams from U9 onwards. Players who are ready and want to try are encouraged to do so. Enquiries email to

Junior Coach CoordinatorWe’re pleased to announce that Peter Devine will be our Junior Coach Coordinator from 2012. Peter will run our pre-season program, mentor and support junior coaches, run special clinics and extra holiday programs. Peter has extensive experience coaching juniors of all ages and abilities. Those who had the good fortune to join one of his “soccer camps” in 2011 will know how good he is. Peter will work with the Jets and Collingwood Allstars Program.
Goalkeeper Coach
Wesley Coles will continue as our goalkeeping coach for 2012 for U12-18 teams and seniors. Wes played for Blackpool back in the UK and supports Everton, but that’s OK - he’s a terrific coach. He’s terrific with the kids. Goalkeeping is a specialist ability that requires specialist coaching.
Boot and Futsal Shoe Exchange
Drop your old boots and futsal shoes for the boot exchange to 47 or 51 Derby Street, Northcote. Boots and shoes go to our scholarship players and to the Collingwood All-Stars Program and Fitzroy Lions Soccer program.
